Configuring voice interactions with transcription

About this task

You must configure the Realtime Transcript widget for the voice interactions to work.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the JSON file for the transcript widget.

Procedure

  1. In Application Center Administration, navigate to Workspaces > Widget Manager.
  2. To import the Realtime Transcript widget, click Import and select the JSON configuration file of the transcript widget.

    The Realtime Transcript widget appears in Widget Manager in the Custom Widgets tab.

  3. To override the URL of the transcript widget, click the green Override URL icon and click OK.

    The URL consists of the Agent Assist URL followed by /app/ui/v1/agentassist/transcription/.

  4. To create a new layout with Voice capability, in Layout Manager > Views, click Voice > Edit.
  5. To use the Realtime Transcript widget, add it to the new or existing layout with Voice capability. In the Customize tab, add the transcript widget to one of the available UI slots in the layout.
  6. Ensure the Agent Assist widget is assigned to a different UI slot in the same layout for the transcription to succeed.
  7. Click Save.
