Setting thresholds in a dossier using the advanced threshold editor

About this task

Use advanced thresholds editor in dossiers to draw immediate attention to attribute data. For example, you can set thresholds to highlight rows in red for display values that are greater than 10.

  • You can add thresholds only in editable mode.

  • You can set thresholds only in the grid or tabular view.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.
  2. On the Home page, in the navigation pane, click Shared Reports.
  3. In the content pane, click Standard Historical Reports.
  4. Click Dossier.
  5. From the available dossiers, click the dossier you want to run.
  6. On the input prompts, specify the values.
  7. Click Run Dossier.

    Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud displays the dossier summary page based on the values specified in the input prompts.

  8. Depending on the duration for which you want to view the dossier, click Interval, Daily, or Monthly.

    By default, the dossiers display the Interval page.

  9. In the editable mode, click the Edit icon.
  10. Right-click the attribute to which you want to set the threshold and click Thresholds.

    Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud displays the Advanced Threshold Editor option.

    If you select a metric, Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud displays the Quick Threshold Editor option.

  11. Click New Threshold.
  12. In the Based on field, click the object to base the threshold on.
  13. In the Operator field, select a comparison operator, such as Greater Than or Less Than.
  14. To compare the metric to a specific value, enter the value in the text box.
  15. To compare the metric to the value of another metric, select the metric from the Metric field and click OK.
  16. To define the condition based on attributes in or not in a checklist, do the following:
    1. From Choose elements by, click Selecting in list.
    2. To format data only for the attribute elements you select, click In List, and select the attribute elements you want to use.
    3. To format data only for all attribute elements except those you select, click Not in List and select the attribute elements you want to use.
  17. To define the condition based on attribute form values, do the following:
    1. From Choose elements by, click Qualification on.

      You can qualify the condition based on the attribute element's ID form, one of its description forms, or the DATE form if the attribute is time-based using the available buttons.

    2. In the Operator field, select an operator.
    3. To compare the attribute to a specific value, enter the value in the Value field.
    4. To compare the attribute form to another attribute form, select the attribute from the Attribute field.
    5. Select the corresponding attribute form.
  18. Click OK.
  19. Click the three vertical dots next to More and click Formatting.
  20. Click OK.
