Adding a new view

上次更新时间 : Sep 05, 2023 |

About this task

Use this procedure to add a new view that you can use when you create a dashboard. When you add a new view, you must select the source measures you want to use in the view.

By default, all new views are private and visible only to the user that creates them. A reporting administrator can share the created view with other reporting administrators and supervisors. All real-time reporting users can view the shared view when they log in the next time.

You can create 60 real-time views. Opening multiple browser tabs simultaneously might impact the display of some views.

Before you begin

  • Add calculated measures if you want to use calculated measures in your new view.

  • Add threshold classes if you want to use threshold classes in your new view.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Realtime Reporting.
  2. Click the Dashboard Preferences icon.
  3. Click Views Manager.
  4. On the Views Manager page, click the Add New icon.
  5. In the Name field, type a name for the new view.
  6. In the Description field, type the description of the new view.
  7. From the Visualisation Type list, select the type of view to use.
  8. From the Producer list, select a producer that Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud provides.

Depending on the producer you select, the configuration fields below can vary.

  9. In the Threshold list, select the threshold class to apply to the view.
  10. From the Measures or Calculated Measures list, select the measures to add to the view.

To search measures, you can type a measure name in the entry field. You can also change the order of the measure columns by dragging and dropping the measure headers.

  11. In the Value field, click a subset of the measures you selected.

This field is available only in Pie and Billboard views.

  12. In the Views Manager center pane, click Show Summary.

The Calculated Measures pane displays the summary row that has numerical values based on the count of numeric values and the calculated percentage measure.

  13. In the Label list, select a label to slice any data per table row.

This field is only available in Pie views. The label gets disabled if you choose two numeric measures for the charts.

For example, if you select a single numerical measure, such as Offered Interactions, the pie chart slices the data per table row. If the producer is Agent, then by default, you can see a pie slice per Agent ID.

  14. Optional To share the view, enable the Shared switch.

Only reporting administrators can share a view.

  15. Click Save.
