Avaya SBC security devices can be monitored and controlled remotely through Graphical User Interface (GUI) or locally through Command Line Interface (CLI). GUI access is provided through Ethernet management interface ports located on each Avaya SBC equipment chassis. Administrators can have up to 10 simultaneous logins to the EMS web interface with Ethernet management interface ports. CLI access is provided through the console or VGA port based on the parameters selected during installation or upgrade. The ports are located on the Avaya SBC equipment chassis. With console ports, you can establish direct physical connections to the devices using any commonly available terminal device for provisioning, management, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. You can access the GUI and CLI interfaces anytime when an Avaya SBC security device is operational. Additionally, the CLI access is provided remotely through an SSH connection to the EMS or SBC server using port 222.
