Installing a DAT file

About this task

Once you obtain or create a DAT file, it needs to be installed in the GUI to be usable.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the EMS GUI.
  2. Ensure the EMS device is selected from the device selection widget at the top left of the screen.
  3. Click Templates > Dat Management link.
  4. Click Add for the desired deployment type:

    • If the DAT file is intended for use with Trunk deployments, click Add for Service Providers.

    • If the DAT file is intended for use with Remote Worker deployments, click Add for Clients.

  5. Optional In the Name field, enter a custom name to use for this specific DAT file.

    If no name is provided, the default from the DAT file is used.

  6. Click DAT file to browse and select the DAT file.
  7. Click Finish.
