Creating a server flow

Procedure

  1. Log in to the EMS web interface with administrator credentials.
  2. From the Device menu, click the SBC name to administer.
  3. In the navigation pane, click Network & Flows > End Point Flows.

    The application pane displays the list of existing devices, and the content pane provides the subscriber flow and server flow information about the selected device.

  4. In the Server Flows tab, click Add.

    The EMS server displays the Add Flow window.

  5. In the Flow Name field, type a flow name.
  6. In the Server Configuration field, select the server profile created earlier.
  7. Keep the default value for the URI Group, Transport, and Remote Subnet fields.
  8. In the Received Interface field, select the external interface towards the endpoints.
  9. In the Signaling Interface field, select the internal interface towards the Avaya call server, for example, Sig_Intf_Int_to_Call_Server.
  10. In the Media Interface field, select the interface towards the Avaya call server, for example, Med_Intf_1.
  11. In the End Point Policy Group field, click the created endpoint policy.
  12. In the Routing Profile field, keep the default value.
  13. In the Topology Hiding Profile field, keep the default value or select the appropriate topology hiding profile.
  14. Select FQDN Support checkbox to use the FQDN for ASBC address instead of IP address for headers added by ASBC. By default FQDN support is disabled.
    • If checkbox is not selected, ASBC adds IP address in message

    • If checkbox is selected, ASBC adds FQDN value to message instead of IP.

  15. In the FQDN field, type a FQDN value. FQDN field is applicable only when FQDN support is enabled.
  16. In the Tenant Configuration Profile field, select the tenant configuration profile.

    The default value is None.

    For Cloud solutions that deploy MS Teams, you must create a customer tenant configuration profile to generate telemetry reports for the customer. For more information, see Tenant configuration.

  17. Click Finish to save and exit.
