With security rules, you can define which enterprise-wide VoIP and Instant Message (IM) security features are applied to a particular call flow. For example, you can configure Authentication, Compliance, Scrubber, and Domain DoS. You can also define the security feature profile so that the feature is applied in a specific manner to a specific situation.
Note:
To be effective, enable the scrubber packages in the Security Rules of Domain Policies.
After the scrubber packages are enabled in the security rules, a list of packages are required for the security rule.
You can administer the following security features by defining the security rules:
Authentication: Authentication of users logging on to devices.
Compliance: Rejection of calls from the devices configured in the Blacklist group.
Scrubber: Detection and drop of malformed messages.
Domain Dos: Detection of DoS attacks within a domain policy.
