Configuring H248 relay

Procedure

  1. Log in to the EMS web interface with administrator credentials.
  2. From the Device menu, click the SBC name to administer.
  3. Navigate to DMZ Services > Relay.
  4. On the Relay Services page, click H248 Relay > Add.

    The EMS server displays the Add H248 Profile window.

  5. In the General Configuration section, do the following:
    1. In the Service Name field, type the name of the service.
    2. Select the Media Anchoring check box.
    3. In the Listen IP field, click the network name, and click the IP to which Gateway sends packets or the interface facing the Gateway.
    4. In the Listen Port field, type the port number 2944.
    5. In the Listen Transport field, click TLS.
    6. In the Listen TLS Profile field, click the network name to which Gateway sends packets or the interface facing the Gateway.
    7. In the Connect IP field, click the network name, and click the IP to which Communication Manager or Media Gateway Controller can reach.
    8. In the Connect Transport field, click TLS.
    9. In the Connect TLS Profile field, click the network name, and select the interface that Communication Manager or Media Gateway Controller can reach.
  6. In the Remote Server Configuration section, do the following:
    1. In the Media Gateway drop-down, select the media gateway.
    2. In the Media Gateway controller drop-down, select the media gateway controller.
  7. In the H248 Media section, do the following:
    1. In the Listen Media Interface drop-down, select the listen media interface.
    2. In the Connect Media Interface drop-down, select the connect media interface.
  8. In the H248 Management > H248 Profile drop-down, select the H248 profile.
  9. Click Finish.
