Adding an SNMP user account

Note:

You can also perform SNMP administration through System Manager. SNMP configuration through EMS overrides configuration from the System Manager. For more information, see the Managing SNMPv3 user profiles section in Administering Avaya Aura® System Manager.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the EMS web interface with administrator credentials.
  2. From the Device menu, click EMS or the SBC name to administer.
  3. Navigate to Monitoring & Logging > SNMP.
  4. Click the SNMP v3 tab.
  5. Click Add.

    The system displays the Add User pop-up window.

  6. Administer the options as described in SNMP administration field descriptions.
  7. Click Finish.

    The content area displays the SNMP account.
