Media Anchoring
Enables or disables media anchoring.
The system enables the Media Forking Profile, Converged Conferencing, Recording Server, and Media Server options only when you select the Media Anchoring option.
Media Forking Profile
Select an administered media forking profile.
Converged Conferencing
Do not enable this option.
Recording Server
Enables or disables the recording server.
The system enables the Recording Profile option if you select the Recording Server option.
Recording Profile
Media Server
Enables or disables the media server.
The system enables the Routing Profile option if you select the Media Server option.
Routing Profile
Select a routing profile that you have administered in Routing profiles.
Optimize Hairpin Calls
Enables or disables optimization of SIPREC sessions on Hairpin calls.
By default:
  • This field is disabled for new session policy.
  • This field is enabled for an existing session policy after Avaya SBC upgrade or migration.
Call Type for Media Unanchoring
Specifies the call type that is used for media unanchoring.
The options are:
  • Media Tromboning Only: Releases media for hairpin calls only.
  • All: Releases media for all calls including hairpin and non-hairpin calls.
Important:
The features Media Unanchoring and Delayed SDP Handling cannot both be enabled for a call. For more information about administering these features, see Media unanchoring and Server interworking.

Enable URN Mapping
Enables or disables URN Mapping.
The system enables the URN Mapping Profile option only when you select the Enable URN Mapping option.
URN Mapping Profile
Select an administered URN mapping profile. The profiles are administered in Configuring URN map based routing for NG911 calls.
