The OVA file is built with configuration values that optimize performance and follow recommended best practices.
After installing the OVA, use this procedure to adjust the virtual machine resources as needed to meet the guidelines set forth in VMware and KVM resource reservation specifications.
  1. Using the vSphere Web Client, select the virtual machine. For example, select vCenter and in the navigation tree on the left select the virtual machine.
  2. Right-click the virtual machine, and click Edit Settings.
  3. Click Action All vCenter ActionsEdit Resource Settings.
  4. Adjust the CPU reservation to an appropriate number in the Reservations field.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Ensure to change CPU reservation to 6600-7200 MHz for EMS and 8800-9600MHz for SBC. Default values are set to 3300 MHz for EMS and 4400 MHz for SBC.
