Avaya Aura supported third-party client licensing

Last Updated : Mar 07, 2025 |

Avaya Aura® supports integration with Avaya Aura® X for Zoom Workplace (ZOOM) and Avaya Cloud Office Hybrid. Users can utilize the Avaya Aura® features from Zoom Workplace or Avaya Cloud Office Hybrid through a license subscription.

Avaya Aura® System Manager tracks the license count for these clients. The license count determines the number of users who can use the ZOOM or Avaya Cloud Office Hybrid feature. You can enable the required client for the users on the System Manager web console. When the license limit is reached, you cannot enable the feature for additional users.

System Manager audits the license count every nine minutes. The audit verifies the user count with the license for the enabled client. If the active user count exceeds the maximum license count, System Manager generates a license alarm. You can manage the license for the users through the System Manager web console. System Manager automatically clears the error alarm when the user count returns to the permissible count.

For more information on the alarm, see Troubleshooting Avaya Aura® Session Manager.

For more information about how to register a Zoom Workplace client with Avaya Aura®, see Configuring the Zoom-Avaya Aura integration.

For information on how to make or answer calls, or use other features, see Zoom documentation.
