HelloWorld snap-in deployment checklist

Last Updated : Apr 19, 2023 |

The HelloWorld snap-in is a preloaded snap-in that is provided with the Avaya Breeze® platform Element Manager in System Manager. Therefore, you do not need to install the snap-in license or load the HelloWorld snap-in. For information about installing a snap-in license and loading a snap-in, see Administering Avaya Breeze® platform.

Important:

This document only covers deployment information. The HelloWorld snap-in is an example of a call-intercept snap-in without Avaya Aura® Media Server services.

HelloWorld snap-in works in the Avaya Aura® environment and does not work with the Avaya OneCloud™ CPaaS-enabled Avaya Breeze® platform environment.

1.

Install the HelloWorld snap-in.

See Installing the snap-in

2.

Create a service profile.

A service profile is an administered group of snap-ins, which will be invoked. You need a service profile for a call-intercept snap-in. This service profile can have one to five different call-intercept snap-ins defined.

See Creating a service profile

3.

Configure snap-in attributes.

You can assign attributes to the snap-in in the service profile. Alternatively, you can configure snap-in attributes at the cluster level or the global level.

See Snap-in attributes

4.

Assign service profile to users.

You can associate a service profile on an individual user basis or scope the profile to a group of users through the implicit user profile association, where profile assignment is based on a range of extensions or numeric patterns. This document only covers the individual method of profile administration for the Hello World snap-in.

Skip this step if the service profile that contains your snap-in is already assigned to the users who want to receive the snap-in.

See Assigning a service profile to an administered user

5.

Create an application and application sequence.

Skip this step if you have an application sequence administered for Avaya Breeze® platform.

See Creating an application and application sequence

6.

Administer implicit sequencing for a user or group of users.

Skip this step if you have administered implicit sequencing for Avaya Breeze® platform.

See Administering implicit sequencing for Avaya Breeze platform

7.

Test the snap-in.
