High-Quality Audio

Avaya Room Microphone RM61 uses multiple individual digital microphones to provide clear audio pickup from distances up to three meters away. The microphone utilizes high SNR mic elements to reduce transmitted noise. The RM61 contains advanced low-latency audio processing to actively reduce noise, reverberation, and echo. The attendees in the room are free to move around as the Avaya Room Microphone RM61 Beamforming algorithm tracks and isolates audio from the person speaking loudest.

Standard interfaces

You can use the following standard interfaces:

  • Connect to the host codec using an Ethernet cable.

  • Connect to power sources using USB for a single Avaya Room Microphone RM61 or using IEEE 802.3at PoE for a cascade of microphones.
