The codec automatically goes into Stanby mode after a certain period of inactivity. The administrator configures the Standby mode timer from the Settings menu. Before the Standby mode timer elapses, you can manually go into Standby mode if you are not actively using the codec. When the codec is in Standby mode, the LED indicator is red and steady.
