Enabling the auto-answer intercom calls feature

About this task

For a user extension to automatically answer an incoming intercom call, you must enable the auto-answer intercom calls feature on it. This example procedure provides the instructions to configure this feature through System Manager.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, navigate to Elements > Communication Manager > Endpoints > Manage Endpoints.
  2. Search for the user extension to set up the auto-answer feature on it.
  3. Select the user extension and click Edit.
  4. Click the Feature Options tab.
  5. In the Auto Answer field, select icom.
  6. Click Commit.
