Before you begin
  • Ensure you have the necessary permissions in your AWS account to perform steps in this procedure.
  • Ensure that you have converted the QCOW2 image to vmdk or raw file format.
  1. Sign in to the Amazon Web Services Management console.
  2. Under AWS services, navigate to All servicesStorageS3.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The system displays the S3 Management Console page.
  3. Upload your converted image file to the S3 bucket.

    If you do not have the S3 bucket, click Create bucket. For more information about creating a bucket, see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/create-bucket-overview.html.
