Configuring the Avaya SBC IP addresses corresponding to the primary and secondary Session Managers

  1. Log in to the EMS web interface with administrator credentials.
  2. From the Device menu, click the SBC name to administer.
  3. In the navigation pane, click Network & Flows Network Management.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Avaya SBC displays the Network Management page.
  4. Click Networks Add.
  5. In the Add Network dialog box, type the following:
    • An External IP address for signaling towards endpoints to support the corresponding Session Manager.
    • An External IP address for configuration of the file or firmware download.
    • An internal IP address for signaling towards the corresponding Session Manager. This address can be reused for configuration file/firmware download.
  6. Select Interface Configuration and enable the interfaces.
  7. Repeat Step 2 to Step 5 for each Avaya SBC system.
  8. Click Finish.
