Use the service profile to link one or many Avaya Breeze® platform snap-ins to a user or a group of users. You must include a snap-in in a service profile to associate it with users. Users are associated with a service profile and not individual snap-ins.
You can associate a service profile on an individual user basis or scope the profile to a group of users through implicit user profile association.
-
Individual user assignment: Assign the service profile to an individual user who is administered on System Manager. To use this method, any SIP or H.323 user the service profile is assigned to must be administered as an explicit user. In general, SIP users are already administered in System Manager as explicit users, but H.323 users might not be. Therefore, you might need to create a new user profile to assign a service profile to a user.
-
Implicit user profile association: Create an implicit user profile rule that encompasses all users who can use the service profile. Assign the Service Profile to that group. Users do not need to be administered on System Manager.
Important:
This document only covers the individual user method of profile administration for the Hello World snap-in. It does not cover the process for implicit user profiles. For more information about creating implicit user profile rules, see
