Implicit sequencing administration for Avaya Breeze® platform

Last Updated : Aug 19, 2020 |
Prolog information
Avaya Breeze® platform uses implicit sequencing for both SIP and non-SIP endpoints, and SIP trunks. Therefore, you must set up implicit sequencing for all SIP and non-SIP endpoints, and SIP trunks where you want to invoke Avaya Breeze® platform call-intercept snap-ins.
With an Application Sequence, snap-ins are invoked when user(s) matching the implicit sequence pattern receive a call, make a call, or in both cases. Administer this choice on the Session Manager Implicit User Rule Editor page for a user or group of users.
Important:
Do not confuse the Session Manager Implicit User Rule Editor page with the Avaya Breeze® platform Implicit User Rule Editor page.
On the Session Manager Implicit User Rule Editor page, note the following:
  • Origination Application Sequence tells Session Manager to send the call to Avaya Breeze® platform when the targeted user is making a call.
  • Termination Application Sequence tells Session Manager to send the call to Avaya Breeze® platform when the targeted user is receiving a call.
For simplicity, select both sequences, in which case Avaya Breeze® platform is invoked when the user either makes a call or receives a call.
Note:
See Deploying Avaya Breeze® platform for information about configuring Communication Manager to force calls to Session Manager for sequencing.
