Perform this procedure only if you want to preserve the same SNMP engine ID to use it after you replace the gateway. By default, the gateway derives the SNMP engine ID from the gateway's MAC address.
Record the old engine ID using the following command:

show snmp engineID
Save the old engine ID to the new gateway using the following command:
