Registering the key

Last Updated : Jan 23, 2025 |

Procedure

  1. After the computer restarts, the Shim UEFI key management console opens. Press any key to get started.

Avaya recommends rebooting from the console as the UEFI key management screen waits only eight seconds for pressing any key.

  2. On the Perform MOK management screen, select Enroll MOK.
  3. On the Enroll MOK screen, select View key 0.
  4. On the Enroll the key(s)? screen, select Yes, and then enter the password you set in the earlier procedure.
  5. On the The system must now be rebooted screen, select OK to confirm your changes and reboot.

The server is ready to enable a secure boot on UEFI BIOS settings.
