Ensure that the customer completes the following before deploying the Communication Manager Open Virtualization Application (OVA) on Customer-provided VMware or Avaya-supplied Avaya Solutions Platform 130.

Identify the hypervisor and verify that the capacity meets the OVA requirements.

Plan the staging and verification activities and assign the resources.

Purchase the required licenses.

Register for PLDS and perform the following:

  • Obtain the license file.

  • Activate license entitlements in PLDS.

Go to the Avaya Product Licensing and Delivery System at https://plds.avaya.com/.

Download the required Communication Manager OVA.

See Downloading software from PLDS.

Download the latest Communication Manager patch. For example: 00.0.441.0-XXXXX.tar.
