Searching for a contact

About this task

Use this procedure to search contacts from the following:

  • My contacts: Contacts you add.

  • My Exchange: Contacts from your exchange account.

  • Global Exchange: Contacts in your company exchange directory.

  • LDAP directory: Contacts in LDAP directory.

  • System contacts: Contacts in Avaya Aura.

Before you begin

Ensure that the administrator configures contacts settings.

Procedure

  1. Press Contacts.
  2. Optional To navigate through Main menu, do the following:
    1. Scroll to Applications and press Select.
    2. Scroll to Contacts and press Select.
  3. Press Search > More > Sources.
  4. In Contact sources, press Toggle for the required directory.
  5. Press Save.
  6. Use the dial pad to enter the name, and press Search.
  7. Optional To add the contact to the local Contacts list, press +Contact.
