Replacing an appliance model Session Manager server

Procedure

  1. Back up the system using Solution Deployment Manager.
  2. Place the selected Session Manager instance in the Maintenance Mode state.
  3. Power down the Session Manager server.
  4. Replace the server with the new hardware.
  5. Install Appliance Virtualization Platform on the server.
  6. From Solution Deployment Manager, deploy a new Session Manager OVA.
  7. Restore the backup that was taken in step 1.
  8. Test the new Session Manager.
  9. Place the Session Manager in the Accept New Service state.
