Headset Selection
Some J100 Series phones support more than one type of headset connection. This menu allows you to select the type of headset the phone uses.
HIS Telephony Headsets: Supported by all J100 Series phones.
USB HID Headsets: Supported by the J159 and J189 phones.
Bluetooth Headsets: Supported by J159, J179 and J189 phones if the optional wireless module is installed in the phone.
Procedure
- Press the
button. - Use the cursor keys to select Settings.
- Use the cursor keys to select Audio.
- Use the cursor keys to select Headset selection.
- Use the cursor keys to select the type of headset the phone uses. The possible options are Bluetooth, USB or Wired (standard HIS telephony headset).
- When completed, press Save or Done.
- Press Back/Exit to exit the menus.
