The following are known limitations of using Cisco Webex Meetings on Avaya Vantage™:

You cannot receive messages when the application is in the background or the screen saver is on.

You cannot send tasks or posts during a chat.

You cannot receive messages when the device is locked.

You cannot make an audio call from the chat window.

You cannot make a video call from the chat window with or without Cisco Webex Meetings camera.

You cannot record a message using the Cisco Webex Meetings.

You cannot answer an incoming call from Cisco Webex Meetings when there is an active call on built-in UC experience. If you try to make a call, you receive the message "Cannot Connect to Audio".

If you make a call from Cisco Webex Meetings when the phone is in an active call, you receive a toast message as "Cannot Connect to Audio".

You cannot join a meeting on Cisco Webex Meetings with a password.

You cannot search a contact and add it to a phone while you are in a Cisco Webex meeting.

You cannot verify the list of meetings displayed for joining.

You cannot answer an incoming call using Avaya Alexa.

Avaya Alexa cannot join you to a meeting on Webex. Avaya Alexa opens the built-in UC experience instead of Webex.

As a limitation inherent to Webex, when a Bluetooth headset and the wireless handset are connected simultaneously, using the Bluetooth handset off-hook does not automatically switch the audio to the handset. To switch the audio to the wireless handset, you must go off-hook and then use the transducer selection option to manually switch the audio to the handset.

The application does not support the following capabilities on Avaya Vantage™:

Avaya Vantage™ wired handset and RJ9 headset.
Alternatively, you can use a Bluetooth headset or speakerphone, a USB headset or speakerphone, or a 3.5 mm headset.

Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) on the device. The MWI LED does not flash for incoming calls or messages on the application.
