Download the Session Manager or Branch Session Manager software.

Verify that the existing server is compatible with Release 10.2.x version of the application. If the existing server is incompatible, change the server accordingly.

Keep the following information handy to create a backup on the remote server:
  • IP address
  • Directory
  • User Name
  • Password

Ensure that all virtual machines running on the host are on the same subnet mask.
If Out of Band Management is configured in a virtual environment deployment, you need two subnet masks based on following requirements:
  • Public or signaling traffic: To route signaling traffic of all virtual machines.
  • Management traffic: To route management traffic of all virtual machines.
