Configure pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) settings to control remotely the camera movements and focus.
On the main menu, select P/T/Z.
On the P/T/Z menu, for the AF Sens setting, select the level of auto focus sensitivity.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
A higher value corresponds to a slower auto focus response. For example, if you select High and something passes between the object in focus and the camera, you are less likely to lose focus on the object.
For the AF Region setting, select the frame area for auto focus.
STEP RESULT:
The camera automatically focuses on the objects within the selected area.
For the AF Limit setting, select one of the following options:
On: To set a near and far distance limit for auto focus.
Off: To disable auto focus distance limit.
If you enabled auto focus limit, for the Near Limit setting, select the near distance limit to focus the camera.
If you enabled auto focus limit, for the Far Limit setting, select one of the following options:
A numeric value for the far distance limit in meters.
INF: To disable auto focus limit for far distances.
For the LR Mode setting, select one of the following options:
STD: To enable standard pan movements.
REV: To enable reversed pan movements.
For the Motion Sync setting, select one of the following options:
On
Off
For the PTZ Speed Setting setting, select one of the following options:
Preset Speed: To use the default speed for pan, tilt, and zoom camera movements.
Custom Speed: To set up manually pan, tilt, and zoom speed.
If you selected custom PTZ speed, do the following:
For the Custom Speed setting, select On.
For the Horizontal Speed setting, select the value for the pan movement speed.
For the Vertical Speed setting, select the value for the tilt movement speed.
For the Zoom Speed setting, select the value for the zoom speed.
For the PTbyZoom setting, select one of the following options:
On: To adjust the pan and tilt speed based on the zoom level. The pan and tilt speed is reduced so that the video image does not change too quickly.
Off: To use the default pan and tilt speed.
For the Digital Zoom setting, select one of the following options:
One of the zoom values from 2x to 16x.
Off: To disable digital zoom.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
With digital zoom, the camera zooms in a certain area of the existing image by enlarging it to the number of megapixels the camera has. You might have video quality issues if you zoom in too far from the camera sensor.
