With the Hotline feature, you can directly call a pre-configured phone number by going off-hook. The phone initiates a call to the Hotline number in specific scenarios of the auto-dial and manual-dial modes. Your phone administrator configures the Hotline number. To go off-hook, use one of the following methods:
Lift the handset
Press a headset device
Press the speaker button
In auto-dial mode, the phone automatically initiates a call to the Hotline number in the following scenarios:
Going off-hook
Dialing any number
Going off-hook when a call is on hold
Dialing any number when a call is on hold
In manual-dial mode, the phone automatically initiates a call to the Hotline number in the following scenarios:
Going off-hook
Going off-hook when a call is on hold
When the Hotline feature is active, the phone disables the Call on off-hook feature.
