Internet Explorer 11

The limitations of Internet Explorer 11 are:

  • You must run Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 only.

  • The browser does not support plug-ins and extensions.

  • The browser cannot handle multiple work cards.

  • Internet Explorer 11 browser leaks memory. The browser becomes unresponsive after a period of time.

The length of time depends on your hardware and the extent of agent activity.

  • The browser can cause other websites to freeze and can impact the Avaya Workspaces operations.

  • Widgets with a large amount of data affect the performance of the browser.

  • If you select the Enable Protected Mode check box in the browser security settings, the browser does not have a reference to opened screenpops.

  • When you complete an interaction, the browser neither closes the opened screenpop nor displays the buttons to view and close the screenpop.

The recommendations for Internet Explorer 11 are:

  • You must log out and restart the browser regularly.

  • You must manually click to view the Avaya Workspaces welcome screen and screenpop widgets.

These widgets load third-party websites that the administrator configures.

  • You must manually activate the Customer Journey widget because it uses charts to visualize the data.

  • You must not have multiple browser tabs open at the same time with Avaya Workspaces.

Apple Safari 11

The limitations of Apple Safari 11 are:

  • If you refresh the browser window during an active session in Avaya Workspaces, the browser displays a blank screen.

  • The browser does not support downloading logs from Avaya Workspaces.

  • You must configure Apple Safari to show scroll bars to ensure Avaya Workspaces functionality is not affected. Set the Show scroll bars option in Apple Safari general settings to Always.
