Post-Message Options

About this task

After having recorded a message to be left in a mailbox, rather than just hanging up, you can use the following options.

Leave a message as normal.
Instead of hanging up, press #.
If required, select one of the following options:
- To mark the message as private: Press 1. Private messages cannot be forwarded to users other than the original recipients.
- To mark the message as priority: Press 2. Priority messages are played before new messages.
Press # to send copies of the message to other mailboxes.
Having sent the message, you can now use one of the following options:
- To login to a mailbox, press *7. See Logging In Remotely.
- To be transferred to an extension number, press *8 and enter the extension number.
- To end the call, hang up as normal.
