Updating the Avaya Aura® MS physical appliance to enable secure boot

Last Updated : Mar 25, 2025 |
Prolog information
New Avaya Aura® MS appliances are shipped with the appliance software already installed and the secure boot configuration set appropriately. When updating or reinstalling an Avaya Aura® MS appliance to software version 10.2.0 SP1 or newer, the secure boot setting can be enabled.
Versions prior to 10.2.0 SP1 do not support secure boot and will encounter errors if secure boot is enabled.
Enabling secure boot is not required to run any version of the Avaya Aura® MS appliance but is recommended to increase the security of the system.
