Condition

Multiple Level Precedence and Preemption (MLPP) is enabled globally. However, when bandwidth is exhausted and the calls are denied, Session Manager instances do not invoke MLPP on high priority incoming calls.

Cause

The system is configured with the wrong MLPP Network Domain. Therefore, Session Manager instances do not use the Resource-Priority specified in the call.

Solution

  1. On the home page of the System Manager web console, click Elements Session Manager Dashboard and verify that the Enable Military Support field is globally enabled.
  2. Verify that all elements in the network support Session Manager Release 7.1 and later.
  3. Verify that all the Session Manager instances in the network support 7.1 and later.
  4. Verify that Network Domains corresponding to the Resource-Priority header of incoming calls are administered.
