Creating a remote server link for backup/restore

Use the following process to specify the link from the Linux-based IP Office server to the temporary backup server.
  1. Login to IP Office Web Manager on the server.
    • For a server network, do this through the network's primary server.
    • For a Unified Communications Module, browse to the IP Office system IP address and select IP Office Web Manager on UCM.
  2. Click Solution Settings and select Remote Server.
  3. Click Add Remote Server.
  4. Enter the details to match the backup server:
    1. Server Name - Enter a name that shows the link's purpose.
    2. Remote Server Address - Enter the IP address or FQDN of the backup server.
