Migrating a report

About this task

Inputs, queries, and display elements are captured during migration. The layout is not preserved, but the order of display items is maintained based on the definition of the PC client report. Most of the migrated reports require the rearrangement of display elements. The complex reports require adding columns or rows before arranging elements to attain the original PC layout.

Additionally, if you find issues in migrated reports in an earlier release, you can migrate the reports again in the newer version of CMS Supervisor Web.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the CMS Supervisor Web.
  2. On the CMS Supervisor Web home page, select Reports.
  3. On the Reports page, in the left pane, select Migration.

    CMS Supervisor Web displays a list of reports that are available for migration. Use one of the following filters to view a list of reports:

    • Show only my reports

    • Show reports which are not migrated

    • Show reports which have been modified since they were last migrated

    • Show reports which have not been modified since they were last migrated

  4. To migrate a report, select the check box corresponding to the report.
  5. Click Migrate.
  6. Click Save Report.

    CMS Supervisor Web displays the migrated report in the Designer folder.
