Scheduler page descriptions

After setting up scheduling in the Web Client, click Scheduler to view and manage your scheduled jobs. You can view report jobs, administration jobs, or all jobs. This section is focused on report jobs.

The Jobs table on the Scheduler page displays information about each job. It also provides actions that you can perform to manage each job. You can click a job in the table to view job details. The Job Detail area displays historical data for the job and enables you to view or delete a specific report.

The Jobs table displays the following information:

Job information

Description

Job Name

Displays the name of the scheduled job.

Action

Displays recent actions. For example, Suspend indicates that you temporarily suspended the report.

State

Displays the status of the report. For example:

  • Active indicates that the job is active and will continue to run as scheduled.

  • Complete indicates that the job is complete. For example, this status is displayed if you scheduled a one-time report that has already run.

  • Suspended indicates that you temporarily suspended the job.

Last Run

Displays the date and time for the previous run.

Result

Indicates whether the last run was successful.

Next Run

Displays the date and time when the next report will run.

Type

Displays the schedule type for the report. For example: Once, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

Interval

Displays the interval at which the report is scheduled. For example, if a Daily report is scheduled to run every day, the interval is 1.

ID

Displays the report ID. CMS generates this ID automatically.

Expire

Displays the end date and time when the report will run for the last time.

Retention

Displays the number of days the scheduled report will be stored in the database.

A system administrator can customize the maximum retention values as described in Administering Avaya Call Management System.

Action icons are available in the main Jobs table and the Job Details area:

In the main Jobs table, click to resume a suspended report. The report continues to run as scheduled.

pause or suspend icon

In the main Jobs table, click to suspend the report temporarily. The scheduled report will not run until you resume it.

cancel report icon, which permanently stops or cancels the report

In the main Jobs table, click to cancel the report. You cannot resume the report after canceling it.

run now icon to run a report immediately

In the main Jobs table, click to run the report immediately. You can view the report when it is ready. After this, the report continues to run as scheduled.

open latest report icon

In the main Jobs table, click to view the latest available report.

In the Job Details area, this option is displayed next to each available report. Click it to view a specific report. This option is grayed out if the report is not available to view.

edit scheduling icon

In the main Jobs table, click to edit the job name and scheduling options for the report. For example, you can change the days when the report is run.

Note that this icon might not be available depending on the job status.

In the Job Details area, this option is displayed next to each available report. Click it to delete a specific report.

To refresh the page after making changes, you can click refresh page icon at the top of the page.
