Connectivity between Expansion Module and Avaya Vantage Connect

Last Updated : Aug 10, 2020 |

You can connect an Expansion Module application with an Avaya Vantage™ Connect application running on the same Avaya Vantage™ device or on a different Avaya Vantage™ device.

Connectivity with multiple Expansion Module applications

You can connect up to three Expansion Module applications to one Avaya Vantage™ Connect application. You must connect each Expansion Module one at a time.

If the Avaya Vantage™ Connect application is already connected with three Expansion Module applications, Avaya Vantage™ Connect does not accept any additional connection requests.

When Avaya Vantage™ Connect establishes connections with multiple Expansion Module applications:

  • Feature button indicators on all connected applications display the same status for a feature.

  • Customized layout and button labels are local to each device where Expansion Module is installed.

  • When you navigate through the pages on one Expansion Module application, your other Expansion Module applications do not reflect this activity.

If your feature buttons exceed the number of buttons per page on Expansion Module, you can connect to multiple applications to have different page views on each one. Each page can have the following number of feature buttons:

  • On K165 and K175: 24

  • On K155: 8
