Starting a conference call by adding another user to an active call

In an Avaya Aura® deployment, your can start a three-way audio or video conference call by adding another user to an active call.
Important:
This procedure does not apply to IP Office or BroadSoft deployments. With IP Office or BroadSoft deployments, you can only merge calls to create a conference call, and video conference is not supported.
  1. During an active call, tap Advanced call options.
  2. In the Call Features window, tap Add Someone.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Tap Enter a number and then enter the phone number.
    • Tap Choose a Person and then select the required contact from the Contacts, Call History, or Favorites list.
  4. Tap Add Someone.
    STEP RESULT:
    A call is placed to the selected participant. When the participant answers, the conference starts.
