Using Avaya Vantage Connect
Making a call using off-hook dialing
When the Avaya Vantage™ device goes off-hook, you will not receive incoming calls while your are dialing a number.
Note:
If the hot dialing feature is activated, Avaya Vantage™ Connect automatically makes a call to the configured hotline number when your device goes off-hook. You cannot dial any other numbers.
- To go off-hook, do one of the following:

Lift the handset.

On the Dial pad screen of Avaya Vantage™ Connect, tap
.

On K155, press the
button.
If a headset is connected to the device, you can press the
button to go off-hook.

- Enter the telephone number.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:On K155, use the physical keypad on the device to enter the number.You cannot enter a number when hot dialing is enabled.
