Description
Customer ID
Customer ID is an alpha numeric ID to distinguish each customer that is going to share the CSP installation.
Kafka Deployment Mode
This field appears when Communication Manager is used as a Main server only.
You can deploy Kafka in one of the following modes:
  • Onpremise: Select this option to configure Kafka deployed on Onpremise.
  • Cloud: Select this option to configure Kafka deployed on cloud environment.
Main Server Deployment Mode
This field appears when Communication Manager is used as a LSP server only. This field indicates that the main Communication Manager server is deployed in Onpremise or Cloud.
You can deploy Kafka in one of the following modes:
  • Onpremise: Select this option if you are setting up Main Communication Manager on Onpremise.
  • Cloud: Select this option if you are setting up Main Communication Manager on Cloud environment.
Kafka FQDN
This field appears when you select:
  • Main Communication Manager server (For both Onpremise and Cloud)
  • LSP (For Onpremise only)
The Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) for Kafka Cluster.
It is important to use FQDN and not IPs. The reason is the TLS authentication is going to use host name validation. Certs by CSP is generated using FQDN and not IPs. The FQDN is the FQDN of the CSP installed in same DC as the Communication Manager.
You can enter the value in valid FQDN format with maximum length of 253 characters.
Cloud Storage FQDN
This field appears for:
  • Communication Manager Main server when you select Cloud option under the Kafka Deployment Mode field.
  • Communication Manager LSP when you select Cloud option under the Main Server Deployment Mode field.
The Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the cloud storage.
Cloud Storage SAS Key
This field appears for Communication Manager LSP when you select Cloud option under the Main Server Deployment Mode field.
Enter the Shared Access Signature (SAS) Key to provide access to cloud storage resources.
Primary ZOO FQDN
This field appears for Communication Manager main server only.
The Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the primary zookeeper cluster.
This is the FQDN of the CSP installed in the same DC as the Communication Manager.
You can enter the value in valid FQDN format with maximum length of 253 characters.
Secondary ZOO FQDN
This field appears for Communication Manager main server only.
The Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the zookeeper in the secondary Common Service Platform (CSP) cluster.
You can enter the value in valid FQDN format with maximum length of 253 characters.
Host FQDN
The Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) assigned to this particular Communication Manager.
You can enter the value in valid FQDN format with maximum length of 253 characters.
Note:
In case of duplex Communication Manager, each physical server has its own FQDN.
Host Alias FQDN
Host Alias FQDN is used in case of duplex Communication Manager. This is the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) assigned to the virtual IP of the duplex pair of Communication Manager. In case of simplex Communication Manager the Alias can be same as the FQDN of this Communication Manager.
You can enter the value in valid FQDN format with maximum length of 253 characters.
Host Data Center Name
The name of the data center, in which Communication Manager is being installed. Host Data Center Name has to match the data center names provisioned in CSP.
You can enter the value with alphanumeric string and maximum length of 253 characters.
Other Data Center Name
Comma separated data center names of all the data centers, that are part of this cluster. These names also have to match the data center names, in which Common Service Platform (CSP) is installed.
You can enter the value with alphanumeric string and maximum length of 253 characters.
ADC URL
The ADC URL is only required by OneCloud.
