From WebLM Release 8.1.3.5, you can toggle between the following cipher suites:
Relaxed cipher suites
Strict cipher suites
When you install WebLM, by default, WebLM is set up with Relaxed cipher suites.
Use the following procedure to toggle the required cipher suites for WebLM.
Procedure
Log in to the WebLM command-line interface.
Type the configureCiphersList command and perform one of the following:
To view the configured cipher suites, at the prompt, type 1.
WebLM displays the list of existing configured cipher suites.
To configure relaxed cipher suites, at the prompt, type 2.
The WebLM Application server restarts, and the standalone WebLM console is not accessible during this time. Additionally, if products are configured to acquire licenses from this WebLM server, the license request fails.
After the configuration is complete, WebLM displays the following message with the list of configured relaxed cipher suites:
Relaxed cipher suites configured successfully
To configure strict cipher suites, at the prompt, type 3.
The WebLM Application server restarts, and the standalone WebLM console is not accessible during this time. Additionally, if products are configured to acquire licenses from this WebLM server, the license request fails.
After the configuration is complete, WebLM displays the following message with the list of configured strict cipher suites:
