Linux-Based Network

This refers to a network of servers centered around a Linux-based IP Office primary server.

  • The network can then included a Linux-based secondary server and a number of expansion servers (Linux and/or IP500 V2 based).

  • The network can run in IP Office Server Edition, IP Office Select and IP Office Subscription mode.

SCN

Small Community Network - This refers to a network of IP500 V2 systems running in Essential Edition, Preferred Edition, or IP Office Subscription mode.

Within this document, the following short names are used for different Avaya IP Office server platforms:

Solution

This document uses this term to refer to the capacity of a network of IP Office systems rather than any individual IP Office in the network.
