Locale

This is the Locale setting configured in the system configuration. This is used to set the various locale specific settings and behaviors of the system. It also sets the default language used for voicemail and phone display language.

Three-Letter Code

Each locale has an associated three-letter code. This code is seen in system monitor outputs. It is also used as the folder name for matching voicemail language prompts. See Three-Letter Code.

Default Emergency Numbers (Basic Edition)

For systems initially configured in Basic Edition mode, a number of default numbers are automatically added to the emergency numbers list. This list of numbers is configurable following initial installation.
