The strings used on Avaya feature phones are split into two:
IP Office Strings: These are strings for IP Office features, default button labels, the Features menu and call handling menus.
Avaya Menu Strings: These are strings used by the non-IP Office menus on the phone. For example the menus accesses by pressing the A key.
The method by which the strings are loaded onto the phones vary depending on the phone type. See the following sections. The default supported languages are:
