• Click
• Enter
• Expand and collapse
• Select for text and as an input-neutral verb
• Select and clear for check boxes

These verbs are frequently used in documentation, but they are not the only verbs you will need to use. For example, click is for actions that you perform with a mouse. If you are describing a mobile device, use tap or a similar verb to describe the action.
