The customer journey schema significantly reduces the required database disk space resulting in optimization and reduction of EDM data storage. The new schema database table removes data storage interdependencies. The new schema database is used when a user selects 'Journey' as the 'EDM: Persistence Type' in ContextStoreManager System Manager attributes. The routing data and customer journey data are now stored in different tables, and can be further used for purging or archiving.
