Configuring BIOS and booting Dell VEP1425N

Ensure that you set up serial console to access Dell VEP1425N.
  1. Press DEL to enter setup.
  2. When prompted to enter the password, enter the service tag with a ! suffix and then press Enter.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    For example, if the service tag is 3FHYV43, enter the password as 3FHYV43!
  3. In the Setup menu, navigate to the Boot tab using the arrow keys.
  4. In the Boot tab, set the Boot Option #1 field to UEFI USB stick.
  5. To save and exit, press F4.
  6. In the confirmation dialog box, select Yes and press Enter.
  7. Press Enter.
  8. When prompted, select Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10 and press Enter.
