The Avaya Alexa application provides the capabilities of the voice-controlled intelligent personal assistant service, Alexa, on the Avaya Vantage™ device. The application has built-in support from Amazon Alexa Voice Service.

Avaya Alexa supports most of the Alexa profiles supported by Amazon Alexa devices, such as calendar integration, Audible, and third-party skills. Avaya Alexa is integrated with the Avaya Vantage™ built-in Unified Communication experience to provide you voice-activated access to basic telephony features.

You can use voice commands to:

• Make a call to a specific number or a contact in your Amazon account.

• Dial in to the next meeting in your calendar.

  The calendar must be synced with the Avaya Alexa application.

• Make general inquiries.

The wake word to activate the listening mode of Avaya Alexa is Alexa.
