Adding Alexa controls to the quick settings options

About this task

The quick settings menu on the Avaya Vantage™ screen provides easy access to enable or disable specific features and application settings. If Alexa controls, such as Alexa Tap to Talk, Alexa Hands-Free, and Microphone, are not visible in the quick settings menu, you can add them for quicker access.

Before you begin

Ensure that the Avaya Alexa application is available on your device.

Procedure

  1. Swipe down from the top bar to view the quick settings options.
  2. Swipe down again from the quick settings bar.
  3. Tap Edit to enter the edit mode.

    The Edit window displays the currently visible quick settings tiles in the upper panel and the hidden quick settings tiles in the lower shaded panel.

  4. To add a tile to the quick settings menu, drag the tile from the lower panel to the upper panel. To hide a tile from the quick settings menu, drag the tile from the upper panel to the lower panel.

    For example, to make Alexa Tap to Talk (Alexa icon) available in the quick settings options, drag the option tile to the upper panel.
